What if you had the magic tips to make 2021 the year your resolutions lasted past February?
There are a few key components to getting and staying fit.
- First and foremost, determine your WHY. Without knowing WHY you want to make changes, you won’t have a reason to press on when motivation is lacking.
- Set SMART goals. Be realistic about where your starting point is and where you ultimately want to be. Once you know your ultimate goal, you can chunk it down into smaller, more reasonable steps.
- Get an accountability partner (or a gym full of partners!) Having someone to help encourage and push you will help you stay in the groove. This is why Swamp City Fitness is so amazing – a whole group of supporters who will cheer for you!
- Celebrate your successes. Recognize those PR’s along the way. Notice when you can do more burpees without cursing the coach or one step closer to getting that first pull-up. ALL progress is just that – progress!
