Acne impacts most people at some point during their lives. According to the Cleveland Clinic, while up to 80% of those aged 11-30 will experience acne, most people will have at least a mild version at some point in their life. Just because you are beyond the teenage years doesn’t mean your skin will be clear! Acne can impact the face as well as other body parts such as the back, the buttocks, and the arms. Sweat can be a major contributing factor to clogged pores. Be sure to shower or wash acne-prone areas soon after working out to avoid skin irritation and breakouts.
